The reason in which I Took this class is to futhur more extend my knowledge of computers I feel I know a lot but there is always more I could learn. Rather it is another hot key or simply how to open an application in a differnt way. I feel that technology is something that changes very often so in order to keep up with the chnages I must constantly stay up to date with computer classes. Also I feel that this class will better help to show me how I can you these skills in and outside of the class room.
After the completition of this class I can say that I learned far more than I expected to learn. I learned how to use programs and software that I had never even heard of before. Even the programs I did know how to use I became sharper and more intuned with my skills I perfected my past skills. Also this class taught me how I can use eveything that I learnet and let other people benifit from it, for instance how to use my skills succesfully in the classroom. overall this class was very good and I would recommend this class to a friend

Chapter 9
This chapter was mostly about the in's and outs of a computer, for instance the system unit is a boxlike case that houses the electronic components a computer uses to process data. I a more simple form it is the hard casing around the computers insides. Also this chapter taught the difference between Bits and Bytes. A Bit which is short for binary digit is each off or on digital value. A Byte is when eight bits are grouped together as a unit. There are many other things that this chapter talked about like CPU, Memory, types of input etc. My level of interest was caught with the storage devices it blows my mind with how advance we are with storage devices now in days because when have up to 10 GB jump drive that are the same size or smaller than a lighter. This is amazing at the size they were able to reduce the memory to, they have expand is memory size but decreased in physical size.
I would like to just say that this class has been very helpfull to me because it has helpede me remeber all of the past skills that I have already learned as well as taught me new ones. I also have gained a new appeciation for technology and the good it can do for today's society

Chapter 8
Through this chapter I feel that I have learned a significant amount of information since my last post. Now when it comes to me upgrading to a new operating system I will be able to find the version that will be best for me based on my needs and the versions qualifications. I can now say that I know the reason behind my computer booting up what takes place, and why I can’t automatically start a program when I turn my computer on. That is because the operating system must be loaded up before I can perform any task.Some thing I found interesting this weekend that I feel I should share is that Seminole ticketing uses the numbers of tickets sold to anticipate the number of concessions they will need to have ready for the game. Another thing I learned was to double check the money that the concessions make, they tally up the total amount of food left and subtract it from their original and then multiply that by their prices and that determines the amount of money that they should have.

The first thing that I learned from this chapter is the importance of computers in all environments no matter how big or small the class, business, or organization is. The computer does jobs the many find tedious and long in a matter or second and on a daily basics. The computer is becoming a necessary luxury. Next comes the progression of computers, they used to be used merely for storage, but know can be used to solve complex equations. Also the technological advances have made VCR's obsolete and almost all laptops are portable DVD players. Overall the computer in the classroom is the best possible solutions to a lot of problems and is just a great idea. The efficiency that the computer brings to the learn experiences is just exceptional, and once everyone becomes computer literate it will be even better.Since my last blog I feel a lot more comfortable with the blogger website, such as adding pictures and links to my profile. Also I have learned how to change to front of my text and so on. Through this weeks readings I have learned that computers helps all majors and career no matter what. Computers can bring a lot to the table even if its just networking the computer is a vital tool that everyone should have.I feel that technology is the gate keeper between counties and races because it can link people from all over the world. I expect a lot from this course because I took CGS2100 and I feel that i was already good with computers and it helped me find out a lot of shortcuts and hotkeys. Also from this class I hope this will help me be a more diverse teacher when it comes to my options in which I use my methods of teaching.

In chapter 5 I learned the role of operating systems and what they really do for the computer. Such as: in order for the computer to use any application software it must first be running an operating system. In other words operating systems contain instructions that coordinate all of the activities of the hardware devices in a computer. Next were the different types of operating systems which include windows, Mac OS, UNIX, and Linux. Out of all mentioned the most used in Schools and home computers is Microsoft Windows. Also another component of operating systems is there versions; companies usually introduce new versions of the operating systems to make the users life easier. I would just like to announce that the best game ever created came out and I will be playing it all night long. Hallo 3 has finally released for Xbox 360 and there is no other game like it. No matter how many people try to copy or duplicate there will never be any game like it. Just to give you an example of how good this game is, 8 out of 10 game stores in Tallahassee had a midnight release of the game and had great turn outs. Some die hard fans even went to the extent as to waiting for the game at seven o' clock in the morning before the store even opened. There was more that 500 hundred students, adults, and students of all genders out there waiting for this game.
Before I close the newest skills I have learned was a new program to me called inspiration. It is a project based software kind of like a power point in which you can design and create diagrams on the computer. I think this will be very good for future use in my career and I really had fun using the program. ;)
